Terms of Service

Last updated: November 1, 2026

1. Service description

Lumineer AI ("Lumineer", "we", "us") is a web studio that lets you generate images and video using third-party AI models (Google, ByteDance, Black Forest Labs, OpenAI, xAI, MiniMax, Kling, Runway and others). Generation runs on our provider fal.ai. We do not own or train the underlying models — we route your prompt and settings to them and return the output to you.

2. Account & eligibility

You must be 16+ (or older where required by local law) and provide accurate information. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any activity under your account.

3. Credits & billing

  • Prices are shown in USD on /pricing. VAT is added at checkout where applicable.
  • Monthly plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
  • Credit packs never expire.
  • Failed renders (technical errors on our side or the model provider's) are automatically refunded in credits.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your billing portal.

4. Commercial license

You own the outputs you generate, subject to each underlying model's license. Personal use is permitted on all plans. Commercial use is granted from the Creator plan and up (including on credit packs purchased while on Creator or Studio). Studio adds IP indemnity for outputs generated within the terms of each model.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Lumineer to generate or distribute:

  • Illegal content, CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery or deepfakes intended to defame or defraud.
  • Content that infringes third-party IP, trademarks, publicity rights or a model's own usage policy.
  • Content used to harass, threaten, dox, spam or run disinformation operations.

We may suspend accounts and remove content that violates these rules or an upstream provider's policy.

6. Refunds & EU right of withdrawal

Lumineer sells digital content that is delivered immediately (credits are consumable digital goods). Under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content whose supply has begun with the consumer's prior express consent. By starting a generation you give that express consent and acknowledge that you lose your withdrawal right for the credits you have already consumed. Unused credits from a subscription are not refundable once the billing period has started; unused pack credits remain on your balance and never expire.

Failed generations are always refunded in credits. If you were charged in error, contact support.

7. Third-party models & content moderation

Each model applies its own safety filter. A prompt may be blocked upstream even if it complies with our rules; in that case the credits for that generation are refunded automatically. We do not manually review your prompts, but we may respond to abuse reports.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumineer's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of registration (see Legal Notice). EU consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence, and the right to bring a dispute before a competent court in that country. The European Commission provides an ODR platform.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app before they take effect.
