🧽 How to remove an object from a photo with AI
AI object removal now beats Photoshop's Content-Aware Fill on almost every real photo. Here's the fastest workflow.
Pick an edit model
Use Flux Kontext, Nano Banana edit or Seedream 4.5 edit. These models understand 'remove X' natively — no masking required.
Prompt only the removal
'Remove the person on the left, keep the rest of the beach identical.' The shorter and more specific, the better. Do NOT re-describe the whole scene.
Iterate on stubborn objects
For crowded scenes, remove one object per pass instead of asking for three at once. The AI keeps continuity better with focused edits.
Upscale if the crop looks soft
Edit models sometimes lower resolution slightly. Run the final image through an upscaler if you're printing or shipping to a hero placement.
